General Description

• Supervising and acceptance for quality during the construction phase of project. Report directly to Technical Manager and the Investor.
• Our job performance is within the framework of the BV Quality Assurance System, QHSE policy, Codes of Ethics and BV Group’s policies and procedures.

Tasks – Activities – Responsibilities

1. General Responsibilities:

• CSA Engineer is responsible for managing and overseeing the structural and finishing phases on site, ensuring their proper operation in accordance with design, technical standards, schedule, quality, and safety standards

2. Main Duties:

• Supervising and acceptance for quality (materials delivered to site/port/factory and works), quantity and short-term working schedule relating to the construction works of contractor.
• Recording supervision diary for the daily supervision works on site.

• To coordinate, study and propose technical solutions for more effective on the management and supervision works.
• Coordinating in implementation of project reports.
• Coordinating in implementation of relevant documents management.
• Checking and signing on the contractor’s Site Diary as requested by Chief Supervisor.
• Witness testing at laboratories, field testing, etc.
• Checking the contents of contractor’s structural as-built drawings/documents
• Providing troubleshooting solutions/ design review to client in case of construction problems
• To coordinate, study and propose technical solutions for more effective on the management and supervision works.
• Always assess the risks and work in a safe manner, robustly implementing health and safety rules, instructions and systems and refuse to undertake work that compromises your safety or health.
• Report in a timely manner all incidents including near miss and safety observations, accidents and injuries and raise any health and safety concerns with your line manager.
• Supervise contractors to comply with construction procedures, technical procedures, acceptance procedures and product quality throughout the construction process.

3. Reporting & Others:

• Liaise with Technical Manager as appropriate for any other technical assistance

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field
• 5 years of experience as Civil Engineer
• Has certificate of construction supervisor grade II
• Knowledge about safety measures and standards
