CSA Engineer 1

General Description 

Our job performance is within the framework of the BV Quality Assurance System, QHSE policy, Codes of Ethics and BV Group’s policies and procedures. 

Tasks – Activities – Responsibilities 

1. Key Responsibilities 

• Project Collaboration: Work closely with architects, engineers, and construction managers to develop comprehensive project plans. 

• Design and Analysis: Utilize CAD software to create detailed architectural and structural designs, ensuring compliance with local building codes and regulations. 

• Construction Oversight: Oversee the construction process to ensure adherence to design specifications and timelines, conducting site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work. 

• Risk Assessment: Perform structural analysis and calculations to ensure the stability and safety of structures, assessing and mitigating potential risks associated with construction activities. 

• Material Selection: Choose appropriate construction materials based on project requirements, budget, and environmental considerations, ensuring they meet quality and safety standards. 

• Sustainability Integration: Incorporate sustainable practices into design and construction processes, evaluating the environmental impact of projects and implementing green building techniques. 

• Documentation: Prepare detailed reports, blueprints, and documentation for project approval and permits, maintaining accurate records of project progress and changes. 

2. Qualifications and Skills 

• Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Architectural Engineering is typically required. Advanced degrees and certifications can enhance job prospects. 

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD software and structural analysis tools is essential. Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and sustainable design practices is also important. 

• Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address challenges that arise during the design and construction phases. 

• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies.

Technical and professional skills 

• Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Office, Revit, and other Electrical software…)

• Be able to take lead in controlling the quality of deliverables to be sent out.
