About the Role

Bureau Veritas is looking for experienced IATF 16949 Auditors to conduct management system audits across automotive and manufacturing organizations. The role involves assessing client compliance with international standards, delivering high-quality audits, ensuring adherence to certification requirements, and contributing to business growth through client engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct IATF 16949 audits in accordance with ISO 19011 guidelines, Bureau Veritas Management System, and operational procedures.
  • Plan, execute, and report audits within agreed timelines.
  • Evaluate client processes and systems against applicable standards and certification requirements.
  • Collaborate with audit team leaders and technical teams to ensure audit quality and compliance.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations, standards, and emerging technologies.
  • Communicate audit findings effectively and prepare timely audit reports.
  • Report unexpected audit situations, disputes, or deviations to relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to client schedules and organizational commitments.
  • Identify and share potential business opportunities and client leads with the sales team.
  • Maintain company assets and submit travel and expense claims on time.

Qualifications

  • Science or Engineering Graduate/Post Graduate.
  • Successfully completed a recognized Lead Auditor Course in:
    • IATF 16949
    • ISO 9001:2015 (preferred)
  • Knowledge of ISO 17021 and ISO 17065 requirements.
  • Strong understanding of management systems, auditing principles, and certification processes.

Experience

  • 6-8+ years of industry experience in automotive/manufacturing sectors.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience conducting 2nd Party or 3rd Party Audits.
  • Prior experience in certification body auditing will be an added advantage.
