Job Title: Maintenance Superintendent
Location: Offshore and Onshore Oil & Gas Projects, Ivory Coast

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate all maintenance activities for offshore and onshore oil and gas facilities, including production platforms, pipelines, storage tanks, and supporting infrastructure.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive preventive maintenance programs to ensure equipment reliability and minimize unplanned downtime.
  • Manage a team of maintenance technicians, electricians, mechanics, and support staff to carry out maintenance work.
  • Develop and manage maintenance budgets, monitor costs, and ensure adherence to approved spending plans.
  • Liaise with operations, engineering, and project management teams to align maintenance activities with production requirements and project schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and quality standards, as well as local regulations in Ivory Coast.
  • Analyze maintenance data, identify trends, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance and efficiency.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to the maintenance team to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Participate in the planning and execution of major overhauls, turnarounds, and capital projects.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of all maintenance activities, inspections, and equipment history.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in maintenance management in the oil and gas industry, with at least 5 years in an offshore or onshore environment
  • Proven track record of leading and managing maintenance teams in a multicultural, international setting
  • Familiarity with offshore and onshore oil and gas equipment, systems, and maintenance best practices
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and project management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Proficient in French and English, both written and verbal
  • Knowledge of local regulations and standards in Ivory Coast's oil and gas industry is preferred
