Position Title: Waste Management Site Representative

Reports To: HSE Manager / Environmental specialist

Location: Yopougon PK 24 Akoupe-Zeudji

Posting Period: 27 October - 19 November 2025

Main Purpose of the Role:

The Waste Management Site Representative is responsible for overseeing the reception, verification, and documentation of all waste materials delivered to the contractor’s landfill on behalf of Eni Côte d’Ivoire. The position ensures that all waste management operations are performed in compliance with contractual, environmental, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Waste Reception and Verification
• Be physically present during all waste deliveries to the landfill.
• Verify that the weight of the waste declared by the supplier matches the actual weight recorded at the weighbridge.
• Ensure that waste is properly categorized, labeled, and segregated according to type (hazardous/non-hazardous).
2. Weighbridge and Equipment Control
• Participate in the periodic certification and calibration of the weighbridge used to record waste quantities.
• Verify the proper functioning and accuracy of measurement equipment.
3. Documentation and Compliance
• Review and ensure the completeness and accuracy of all administrative documentation related to waste management (e.g., waste transfer notes, certificates of destruction, transport manifests, weighbridge tickets, etc.).
• Confirm that all waste handling, transport, and disposal activities are conducted in accordance with local regulations and Eni’s waste management procedures.
4. Reporting and Coordination
• Maintain records of all waste deliveries and corresponding verification results.
• Report discrepancies or non-conformities (e.g., differences in weight, improper documentation, unsafe practices) to the HSE Department.
• Liaise with the contractor and supplier to resolve any waste management issues.
5. Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)
• Ensure compliance with all applicable HSE rules and site safety procedures during waste operations.
• Immediately report any unsafe condition or incident observed at the landfill or during waste transfer activities.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Technical diploma or degree in Environmental Management, HSE, or Logistics (or equivalent experience).
• Knowledge of waste management processes and environmental regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform on-site verification.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
• Basic understanding of weighbridge operations and documentation control.

Working Conditions:

• Position based at the contractor’s landfill site, with regular coordination with Eni Côte d’Ivoire HSE team.
• Occasional travel to other waste generation sites may be required.
