The Global Business line at Bureau Veritas is seeking an International Competence Center Governance Manager to support the operational and technical performance of its technical operations, with the goal of improving governance.

 

>>Your mission:

You will report in this position to the Director of the Certification GBL.

You will support both the implementation of the transformation of the Certification business within Bureau Veritas and the operational performance of the Certification activities in the Bureau Veritas Network.

In this role, you will work with various teams around the world (80+ countries) and from various disciplines (technical, operations, finance).

>>Your Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Review and help Rationalize the footprint of Bureau Veritas Certification International Competence Centers and Critical Locations: With the support Certification GBL Director, Global Technical Manager and Operational Excellence Manager, Lead the review and optimization of our ICC and Critical Location footprint, taking into account resource availability, in order to improve the performance (financial and customer service) of our operations
  • Review the overall technical Governance of ICCs: Propose and pilot new financial models for ICCs. Implement a pilot of this new model
  • ICC Performance Management: Define and implement the right operational KPIs for both ICC and Country performance, as well as operational performance of the ICCs - In coordination with SmartCert Business Process owner, make sure those indicators are tract to improve the overall ICC performance

 

>>Job Knowledge, Skills & Experience :

  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and influencing skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to connect and engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • Solution-oriented mindset.
  • Strong analytical skills coupled with a business mindset.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience.
  • Experience in managing a P&L
  • Preferred: knowledge of the Certification Business
  • Preferred: Experience with Business Transformation and/or Lean 
  • Fluent in English.

 

--> Location : Paris or Remote Location. The availability for travelling is required.
