--> Job Purpose:

Reporting to the Group Transfer Pricing Manager, you will participate to the design, review, implementation and documentation of Bureau Veritas’ transfer pricing policies.

You will integrate a worldwide tax team made of 12 tax professionals and will collaborate with many group stakeholders (regional tax managers, finance, business, etc.…).

 

 

--> Principal Accountabilities:

Your role will focus on the following main areas:

Transfer pricing policies structuring:

  • Participate to the definition of the group transfer pricing policies;
  • Conduct functional and economic analyses for transfer pricing assessments;
  • Perform both quantitative and qualitative analyses to advise on transfer pricing issues and new business initiatives;
  • Make recommendations on procedures and best practices regarding the pricing of intra-group transactions;
  • Take part to the Corporate Fees invoicing campaigns (calculation, consistency checks, invoicing monitoring);
  • Assist the Group Transfer Pricing Manager in the development of long-term transfer pricing strategies, corporate restructurings and transfer pricing projects.

Transfer Pricing compliance:

  • Prepare and update the Group Master File as well as the Local Files of the French entities, in collaboration with the Group Transfer Pricing Manager;
  • Manage transfer pricing reporting obligations in France (2257-SD);
  • Provide affiliates with a file summarizing transfer pricing documentation requirement, as well as a Local File template and relevant benchmark studies;
  • Coordinate the update of intra-group contracts;
  • Monitor new transfer pricing regulations applicable to the Group.

Network assistance:

  • Support operational and financial teams on transfer pricing matters related to business transactions, and assist on ad-hod transfer pricing queries;
  • Collaborate with Regional Tax Managers on all transfer pricing topics;
  • Support group companies during tax audits, in coordination with the Group Transfer Pricing Manager;
  • Develop transfer pricing knowledge within the group.

--> Job Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

Professional and/or technical competencies:

  • Master’s degree in Tax Law, with 3- or 4-years’ experience with transfer pricing and international tax matters, in a Big4/ Tier A accountancy firm.
  • Strong tax technical skills across all areas of transfer pricing, and a good knowledge of finance as well as direct and indirect tax issues affecting transfer pricing.
  • Solid research skills and strong system skills (MS Office / BI / ERP)

  • As a true business partner, you are proactive and know how to implement effective solutions to solve complex problems. You have excellent written communication skills as well as strong analytical and organizational skills, and you are able to explain transfer pricing challenges in simple terms to partners who are not always familiar with transfer pricing rules.
  • Agile, you have the capacity to act quickly and change priorities in a complex environment.
  • You are accustomed to work in collaborative mode, and you have the ability to build positive relationships with team members and group stakeholders.
