Within the Design Assessment Department of our Technical Direction, you will join the 'Machinery' service.


In collaboration with the local teams of our global network and serving international clients (Shipowners, Operators, Shipyards, Equipment Suppliers), your main role is to conduct design reviews of Machine and associated piping equipment in compliance with applicable regulations.


The design reviews include the following elements:


  • Main and auxiliary engines, turbines, propulsion line, and associated circuits
  • Power transmission systems: reducers, thrusters
  • Equipment such as pumps, compressors, pressure vessels, boilers
  • Service equipment: hydraulic and pneumatic units


You will also be responsible for managing all components related to the successful execution of your plan reviews:


  • Project framing and pricing in collaboration with our clients
  • Ensuring technical and contractual follow-up
  • Guaranteeing quality and adherence to deadlines

As your expertise evolves, you may be called upon to provide technical opinions, interpret applicable regulations, or participate in regulatory development in your areas of expertise.

Former Merchant Navy or Navy Officer, or holder of an engineering degree (mechanical and/or energy) or equivalent; you have at least 5 years of experience in the design, construction, or operation of propulsion and/or mechanical systems.


Ideally, you have knowledge of the Maritime or Offshore industry. Your English is fluent, and you are willing to travel occasionally abroad.

You have a keen interest in technology and machinery.
