As part of BV Solutions M&O's strong international development, we are looking for an Energy Transition Project Manager to strengthen our team in Nantes (France).

BV Solutions M&O is a leading provider of marine engineering and services, providing engineering, inspection services, site supervision and project support.

Our clients are ship owners and shipyards, oil companies and offshore engineering companies. Our office in France has 40 engineers and a turnover of around 5 M€.

We offer a wide range of expertise in different maritime fields, anchored by a deep understanding of the evolving marine and offshore energy market, to bring positive change to the sector.

You will be working in our META team (Maritime Energy Transition Advisory) specialised in Energy Efficiency, Energy Transition, and Naval Architecture and your main tasks will be to :

• Carry out consultancy studies for the decarbonisation of maritime transport for our clients (shipowners/banks/insurers/ports). You will be required to propose fleet strategies, and technical and operational solutions to reduce greenhouse gas emissions
• Carry out technical audits of vessel characteristics to ensure the environmental performance of vessels
• Act as project manager, calling on the team's experts or those of our other departments as necessary
• Participate in the development of software, methods and tools related to the decarbonisation of ships
• Contribute to the development and outreach of our services

You have a general engineering background, ideally with a specialisation in the naval field. You have 5 years of professional experience, providing you with the necessary maturity and technical background. Ideally, this experience will be in the naval or consulting field. You have excellent analytical and synthesis skills.

You are strongly motivated by the theme of energy transition and enthusiastic about the contribution you can make to the maritime world to make it more respectful of the environment and human beings.
