Within the Renewable & Power department of the design evaluation division, you will join a team of specialists in offshore energies: pipelines, risers, umbilicals, and submarine power cables.

Your missions include:

-Reviewing and evaluating technological solutions covering submarine power cables and flexibles: plans, specifications, and calculation notes according to offshore technical standards such as API, DNV...

-Verifying material selection and monitoring metal and polymer qualifications

-Conducting independent calculations using software such as ABAQUS or FLEXCOM

-Providing technical expertise on the fabrication and installation of subsea-to-surface lines as well as on product qualification/innovation work

-Participating in the management of our certification projects in coordination with our clients and internal offshore teams.

 With a higher education background specializing in mechanical engineering or materials, you have at least 5 years of experience in the offshore or Marine Renewable Energy (EMR) sector.

You have knowledge in the design of offshore flexibles or submarine cables and experience with polymer materials (ideally permeation).

Your proficiency in English enables effective communication with our network and clients, both orally and in writing.

You are willing to travel occasionally in France and abroad.
