Your context:


Bureau Veritas has identified opportunities to address growth, replication and expansion of sustainability advisory and auditing services delivered to customers globally. As such, our global sustainability service line is committed in supporting our operational Groups in the marketing, sales and delivery of sustainability services such as Carbon-dedicated services.



Your mission & main responsbilities:


The role will focus on alignment between sales, operations and the delivery of strategic Carbon-dedicated services which are aligned with our priorities:


  • Develop methodology and approach to delivering Carbon-dedicated services globally at a consistent level.
  • Review methodologies presented by partners and Operational Groups for us in the implementation of projects related to Carbon, LCAs and EPDs.
  • Provide technical sales support through customer meetings and proposal management, preparation & review for strategic opportunities
  • Stay informed on changes in markets related to sustainability standards and regulations.
  • Drive the business replication of selected technical solutions in key geographies globally, with a strong focus on carbon and life-cycle assessments.



Your Experience & Skills Required:


  • Sustainability Professional who understands a range of carbon and holistic environmental impact approaches related to carbon footprint (GHG Protocol, ISO 14064-1), net zero carbon (PAS 2060, Route to Net Zero Standard, The Net-Zero Standard), Life Cycle Assessments (ISO 14040, ISO 14044) and Environmental Product Declarations (ISO 14025).
  • Expertise in calculating Carbon to various standards and industries ranging in complexity.
  • Influencer and collaborator who is very comfortable operating within an international matrix structure.



Your profile:

  • Engineering or environmental-related degree. Masters Degree level in related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in relevant field.
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of the quantification of environmental impacts, Carbon, EPDs and environmental science.
  • English written & spoken. Preference for additional languages.
  • Ability to understand and integrate cultural differences and motives and to lead and influence cross cultural teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, environment with simultaneous ability to manage and prioritise multiple projects at various levels.
  • Solutions driven, capable of Strategic thinking.
  • Energetic, creative, and resourceful thinker, able to connect dots.
  • Communicative & Ability to speak in public.
  • Be a mentor and facilitator for internal stakeholders on topics related to ESG/Sustainability.
