--> Mission :

As an “IPC Product Leader – Electromechanical Equipment & Advanced Technologies”, you are responsible for leading and implementing the strategy for development of the newly created Electromechanical Equipment & Advanced Technologies domain of the IPC BL.

This domain covers all the aspects which a Machinery Manufacturer and/or End User must deal with. This thus means Machinery [Self] Certification, Machinery Safety, Functional Safety, ATEX, Electromagnetic Compatibility, Radio Frequency, Noise, Cyber Security and, in the future, AI aspects.

You perform the job in the framework of the BV Quality Assurance System, the Code of Ethics, the BV Group policies, and the Division / Zone / Region guidelines.

-->Main Responsibilities :

• Contribute to the definition, and be responsible for the implementation of the strategy for developing Industrial Product Certification services related to the Electromechanical Equipment & Advanced Technologies
• Create 2 new service offers: one for the Machinery Manufacturers and one for the Machinery End Users
• Support the process (in compliance with TQR) leading to compliance with ISO 17 020, ISO 17025 and 17065 standards when applicable. In relation with the above new business opportunities, identify and obtain the necessary licenses to operate and accreditations.
• Act as the Coordinator of the activity across the network to harmonize the methodologies and the procedures.
• Be in charge of the Quality (namely the QMS related to the activity), the Process (namely the production tools) and the Performance Review (namely the monitoring and the KPI’s) of the activity and in particular be responsible for the Electromechanical Equipment & Advanced Technologies section of the IPC Share Point and for the organization and follow up of the Business Review Meeting (BRM), the Technical Meetings (TM and TAM) and the Technical Arbitration Committee (TAC)
• Support the marketing and sales plan and, when needed, directly perform commercial actions for strategic opportunities. 
• Deliver technical and operational assistance to the network when needed (especially when new products are developed) and organize trainings, seminars, and master classes.
• Perform regulatory watch with the support of the SSC.
• Perform competition watch with the support of the SSC.
• Support the development of necessary tools to optimize the delivery process.

--> Requirements :
-Education:

• Graduated Engineer (Master of Sciences) in Industrial Engineering (or equivalent) with a strong professional experience in Machinery and/or advanced technologies related services including cybersecurity.
• Fluent in English. Another language would be a plus.
• Minimum proven 10 years’ experience with a similar service provider and/or in industry.
• Conversant with regulations and standards related to Machinery (Directive 2006/42/EC and new Machinery Regulation 2023/1230), Functional Safety (IEC 61508 and IEC 61511), Equipment to be installed in potential explosive atmosphere (ATEX 2014/34/EU, IECeX, COMPEX etc.), EMC (Directive 2014/30/EU) and international Standards and regulations related to cyber security (e.g., ISO27K, GDPR, IEC62443, PCI DSS) and security certification schemes and standards (e.g., IEC 62443, UNECE R155/R156) (IEC62443, UNECE R155/R156).
