Attached to our Center located at Saint Nazaire, and integrated within a team of experts, you will be the technical referent and the technical representative for missions aimed at controlling the technical compliance of ships to applicable standards.
Your role will consist of:
- Vessel inspections in service
- Factory inspections of materials and equipment for ships
- New construction monitoring, classified and unclassified, and, where appropriate, participation in sea trials before delivery
As a true ambassador of Bureau Veritas' expertise, you represent our commitments with ambition and humility.
You will be required to travel regularly within a perimeter covering Pays de la Loire region. For this, a vehicle will be provided to you.

As a graduate in construction or naval engineering, or a former sailor from the Merchant Navy or the French Navy, you possess knowledge in boilermaking/welding, propulsion and onboard systems, safety, electricity, and naval architecture.
Your previous experience has allowed you to develop a high degree of autonomy and strong technical skills.
You are proficient in computer tools and demonstrate good writing and interpersonal skills. Attentive to the needs of both internal and external clients, you enjoy working in a team and can adapt to various situations encountered.
Your proficiency in English allows you to communicate effectively with our network and clients, both orally and in writing.
