Process Engineer #B&I

What You’ll Do

• Ensure CLS safety guidelines, GMP, and local legal requirements are implemented throughout design, construction, and commissioning stages.

• Collaborate with plant leadership, utility, quality, production, and SHE teams to deliver projects on time, within scope, and budget.

• Develop system designs, specifications, and drawings for instrumentation & control systems following industry standards.

• Select suitable instrumentation and control equipment (sensors, transmitters, control valves, etc.).

• Support project budgeting and scheduling for electrical–instrumentation–automation systems.

• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to ensure smooth system integration.

• Supervise installation, calibration, and commissioning activities, providing technical guidance as needed.

• Ensure regulatory compliance and prepare documentation such as IQ/OQ, FAT, SAT, and PQ.

• Conduct handover to production, including training, as-built documentation, and maintenance scheduling.

Qualifications & Competencies

• Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation/Electrical/Engineering or equivalent experience.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in project execution (commissioning & ramp-up) — preferably in build capital projects.

• Proven experience leading packaging system projects with CAPEX value between EUR 500K – 4M.

• Strong knowledge of medium/low voltage systems and PLCs.

• Familiar with Machinery Safety, Hygienic Design compliance (EHEDG), and GMP/Quality standards.

• Atex knowledge is an advantage.

• Excellent cost estimation, communication, and influencing skills.

• Proficient in English (spoken and written)
