Welding Engineer

As Welding Engineer, will be responsible for controlling the quality of welding in the fabrication departments. Sustaining and improving the quality of welding across the facility including:
a) Bachelor degree in material or mechanical engineering 
b) Min 8 years working experience in area production facility (topside and subsea) welding.
c) having ability in English Language.
d) Certified in IWE
e) Certified NDT
f) Control and Review Welding Procedure and welder qualification.
g) Advising Estimating and Engineering department to ensure welding activities as per drawings and specifications.
h) Advising Estimating and Engineering department on the NDE requirements as per drawings and specifications.
i) Communicate with all other coordinators in the group to achieve Project target and requirements
j) Shop floor audits to ensure the quality of the welding and the quality system is being maintained in respect of welding
k) Control and Review Weld Maps when required.
l) Ensure all Welding equipment is being maintained and calibrated.
m) To be part of the Monthly Quality Review to ensure Continuous welding improvements
n) Management of welding non-conformances.
o) Candidate shall has good Knowledge, Skills and Experience
