Subsea X tree & Intervention Engineer.

a) A Subsea X tree Engineer will hold an honours degree in Mechanical or Civil or Structural or Subsea Engineering. The degree must contain a thorough grounding in the theory and techniques of structural engineering.
b) Min 8 years working experience in area production facility (subsea) inspection, certification, maintenance and repair, and asset integrity management, and in construction and Installation , the experience gained shall be in a similar role and the candidate shall have a strong construction engineering background and have demonstrable yard leadership skills.
c) Must have experience working for a major subsea equipment supplier, preferably subsea trees.
d) Must be familiar with the design of sub-sea tree blocks (master valve block, production wing block, etc.), valves, or tubing hangers.
e) Prior experience in new product development and/or R&D; qualification activities to API requirements is preferred.
f) Must be able to demonstrate clearly that they understand how to perform concept layouts, detail design layouts, generate/check/approve the actual manufacturing drawings, understand the drawings required for the manufacturing process, material selection considerations, NDE that should be called out on manufacturing drawings, and independently perform design calculations to justify their design.
g) General knowledge of materials, including welding and heat treatment is required.
h) Must be hands-on using SOLIDWORKS, AUTOCAD and other design software.
i) Hands-on experience of design and who have worked for or with a major Operator
j) Providing assurance for design and operational aspects of offshore brownfield activities
k) Strong analytical skills, a strong understanding of engineering fundamentals and specialist knowledge in design and structural engineering analysis as required
l) Experience of relative design methodologies, construction activities, installation activities and associated analysis
m) Appraisal of CONTRACTORs designs to ensure compliance with specified/relevant codes, regulations, standards and specifications; production of deliverables such as calculations, reports and presentations; discuss/present the deliverable with client at a senior level and be able to suggest alternative solutions where appropriate; share knowledge with other team members; work within agreed parameters including budget and contractual requirements
n) having ability in English Language.
