About the role:

BVPI is currently searching for a full-time Proposal & Marketing Coordinator based in or Charlotte, NC. This position will be fully remote. The Proposal & Marketing Coordinator will lead the proposals process and manage all proposals across the Americas. The Proposal & Marketing Coordinator will work with a variety of staff to support the development of proposals, qualification packages, resumes, and project descriptions. This role will be responsible for managing all aspects of the proposal process and will work closely with the team to support successful proposal efforts. We are looking for a motivated people-person with excellent writing and communication skills to lead the proposal process and support our fast-paced workflow. The ideal candidate will have experience in the A/E/C or professional services industries and demonstrate a collaborative, can-do attitude with a knack for creativity and attention to detail.

 

What You'll Do:

Leads proposal process from RFP issuance through interview stage with general guidance, including scheduling and conducting Go/No Go meetings, project kick-off meetings and interview prep sessions

• Manages all RFP schedules, ensuring all deadlines are met throughout the RFP lifecycle

• Gathers technical information and edits proposal materials, including writing, verifying, and formatting proposal information.

• Ensures the various aspects of proposals and other marketing materials are compliant with the Client RFP, accurate and delivered in a timely manner

• Collaborates with technical staff to write original content and reviews/edits content for clarity, compliance and key messaging

• Collaborates with marketing team to plan and produce materials ensuring all proposal materials are effectively communicating BVPI’s strategic vision

• Prepares materials for internal and external meetings, interviews, etc.

• May coordinate and assist with various other marketing activities, including social media strategy, writing articles for newsletters, and other special marketing/communications-related projects as needed.

 

What You'll Bring:

Bachelor’s degree or commiserate experience

• 5 + years’ experience in the AEC industry in the same capacity preferred

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience with demonstrated marketing skills preferred

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, SharePoint, and other communications-related software programs.

• Advanced skills in InDesign a plus

• Excellent organizational and editorial skills along with liaison capabilities

• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and details simultaneously

• Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams remotely

• Demonstrated experience managing standard and complex proposals from onset to conclusion with general guidance and minimal oversight

• Strong interpersonal, organizational and time management skills

• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in completing tasks

• Proficient in common grammar, punctuation, proofing, and business writing

• Knowledge of AEC industry, terms, and definitions a plus

• Ability to produce high quality materials under tight deadlines

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
