Business Development Associate 

 

The Business Development Associate will be responsible for leading and executing the implementation of the sales strategy, tracking the strategic growth, qualifying leads, developing a new business pipeline, and identifying merger and acquisition opportunities. 

 

Employment Type: 

  • Full Time, exempt 

  • Remote from home or In Dallas Office  

  • Salary Range: $70k-$80k 

 

Qualifications: 

  • 4-year degree in Business, Marketing, or related field  

  • Prefer 2-3 years experience in the renewable energy space or related field 

  • Be familiar with CRM tools including Salesforce 

  • Highly organized and detail oriented 

  • Ability to work with multiple department leads 

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise discretion and manage sensitive information 

  • Communicates professionally, effectively, and timely (both oral and written) 

  • Self-motivated to complete tasks with ability to adapt well to quickly changing priorities 

  • Experience in RFP writing and management a plus 

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and in cross functional leadership roles. 

  • Willingness to travel 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities for the company 

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and partners 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement business development strategies 

  • Monitor industry trends and market conditions for the energy industry 

  • Manage client supplier portals  

  • Maintain CRM and keep up to date 

  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the company’s products and services 

  • Assist in driving our key growth initiatives on target markets and service offerings 

  • Participate in relevant trade-shows and conferences 

  • Help in finding RFP’s, assist with response process, coordinate activities, and assist the proposal team with relevant activities 

  • Partner with marketing team to drive awareness of business capabilities 

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of customer onboarding and support
