Business Development Associate
The Business Development Associate will be responsible for leading and executing the implementation of the sales strategy, tracking the strategic growth, qualifying leads, developing a new business pipeline, and identifying merger and acquisition opportunities.

Salary Range: $70k-$80k
Qualifications:
-
4-year degree in Business, Marketing, or related field

Prefer 2-3 years experience in the renewable energy space or related field

Be familiar with CRM tools including Salesforce

Highly organized and detail oriented
-
Ability to work with multiple department leads
-
Ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise discretion and manage sensitive information
-
Communicates professionally, effectively, and timely (both oral and written)
-
Self-motivated to complete tasks with ability to adapt well to quickly changing priorities
-
Experience in RFP writing and management a plus
-
Demonstrated ability to work independently and in cross functional leadership roles.

Responsibilities:

Identify and pursue new business opportunities for the company

Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and partners

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement business development strategies

Monitor industry trends and market conditions for the energy industry

Manage client supplier portals
-
Maintain CRM and keep up to date
-
Maintain a thorough understanding of the company’s products and services

Assist in driving our key growth initiatives on target markets and service offerings

Participate in relevant trade-shows and conferences
-
Help in finding RFP’s, assist with response process, coordinate activities, and assist the proposal team with relevant activities

Partner with marketing team to drive awareness of business capabilities

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of customer onboarding and support
