Data Administrator
Location: Edmonton, AB

 

Job Overview and Responsibilities:

This position supports Bureau Veritas’ Emissions Services by performing data review and entry into various databases including Leak Detection & Repair (LDAR), Source and Ambient Emission groups. Provide administrative support to the Operations Supervisor and Customer Service Team.

 

Primary responsibilities include the following (but are not limited to):

  • Perform data entry for the daily work as scheduled by the Operations Supervisor
  • Prepare Compliance pre-job field sheets
  • Verify Post-job field sheets and Data Package delivery
  • Verify Field Chain of Custody
  • Review job confirmation reports from outsource labs and complete lab report verification
  • Complete and file AMD11 Notifications and related ETS data verifications
  • Daily Ambient reporting
  • Google Worksheet platform maintenance and field sheet updates
  • Perform Service Fusion Maintenance
  • Inform the Operations Supervisor of any quality or data issues as soon as they become apparent.
  • Inform the Operations Supervisor immediately of any customer service issues as they become apparent.
  • Supports and complies with all Bureau Veritas policies, Quality System and Health & Safety program
  • Adheres to Bureau Veritas Code of Ethics Policy
  • Participates, when requested in Emission Services health & safety meetings
  • Participates, when requested, in Emission Services internal and external audits
  • Ensures proper use of personal monitors, and all required PPE
  • Ensures common work area are kept clean at all times
  • Provides excellent customer service by always presenting a professional and cooperative attitude
  • Always represents Bureau Veritas in a positive way
  • Always complies with client and Bureau Veritas safety initiatives and rules
  • Always ensures that all reasonable and safe client requests and expectations are met
  • Maintains a positive and cooperative work attitude
  • Communicate with the Operations Supervisor to ensure the correct level of supplies are available to do their job
  • Develops a strong supportive relationship with the Source Emission Team and the Operations Supervisor
  • Develops a strong supportive relationship with the Emission Services Group and the Customer Service Team
  • Perform ordering and receiving duties using FLEX
  • Support the Customer Service Team through reviewing and updating calibration records and completing peer reviews of client reports
  • Other additional duties as designated by the Emission Services Manager

 

Is there a mutual fit? You ideally have:

  • 2-year technical diploma or equivalent experience
  • Up to 2 years data administration,  project management or customer service experience
  • Other petroleum, environmental, or related experience an asset
  • Strong telephone and email communication skills as these will be the primary communication tools we use to ensure we are delivering on our promises to our customers
  • Self-motivated, reliable and trustworthy. Ability to work under minimal supervision with high problem solving skills
  • Strong customer service skills and commitment to providing exceptional customer service
  • Skilled in problem solving, effective communication
  • You are ethical, dynamic, motivated and results oriented
  • Strong computer literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook etc.)

 

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

The salary range for this role is $22-$24

 

Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,  experience, and market location.
