What You’ll Do:

 

  • Weigh out raw material
  • Pipette and weigh in the microliter (uL) and microgram (ug) range
  • Perform serial dilutions to create standards and quality control samples following a written method
  • Prepare polymer samples and standards for GPC analysis
  • Run validated methods and maintain the systems
  • Quantitate and interpret chromatographic data
  • Document experiments and generate data reports via ELN (electronic lab notebook)
  • Assist with rotating section support tasks and perform weekly routine laboratory maintenance

 

What You’ll Need:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, or related field with 0-6 months of experience required 
  • Detail oriented
  • Experience in an analytical laboratory required
  • Experience with Gel Permeation Chromatography, Liquid Chromatography, Gas Chromatography, or similar instrumentation preferred
  • Basic Computer skills- Microsoft Office
  • Notebooking/Documenting experiments- Electronic lab notebooking
  • 2-D chromatographic interpretation and troubleshooting
  • Multi-tasking
  • Ability to adapt to a fast changing work environment, and changing projects at a moment’s notice
