Customer Service Representative (Fulltime)

As a Customer Service Representative, your main responsibilities are:

 

  • Development and maintenance of client accounts
  • Learn, understand and navigate through the in house LIMS system (Laboratory Information Management System – Client, Reporting, Invoicing, Job, etc.)
  • To be the key liaison between the client, the laboratory, and senior BV management
  • Respond to all client inquiries (telephone or email) in a timely manner according to department standards
  • Assist clients with the provision of data interpretive support
  • Provide consultation, recommendations, and technical assistance to clients, with assistance from Scientific Services
  • Stay current on the application and interpretation of Food regulations
  • Document and get closure on all client complaints (CARS)
  • Stay current with all methods, PARs, and MOCs, via the various reporting tools of the QSI, and CMR databases
  • Assist the sales team with active participation in development and execution of the regional sales strategies, assist in all quotation reviews, and RFP generation
  • Develop potential clients through active participation in new account identification, and regular account reviews
  • Coordinate work schedules, reports, data, billing and client requests
  • Assist with the preparation of correspondence and reports for technical analytical data review, marketing information, and other related documentation
  • Complete all office related administration tasks such as filing, reporting and invoice generation, mailing, and any ad hoc requests
  • Coordinate and follow-up of all subcontracted analyses
  • Coordinate and schedule on time pick-up of samples
  • Coordinate on time and accurate delivery of all bottle orders
  • Work with accounting staff to facilitate discussions on client account payment habits; assist with collection of monies owed
  • Adhere to all Health and Safety Regulations
  • Ensure Quality Standards are maintained
  • Provide client feedback to the BV management
  • Maintain current employee training file
  • Adhere to and participate with all QA\QC policies of the organization
  • Available to respond to emails and calls after hours and on weekends, when necessary – a cell phone and laptop will be provided
  • Depending on the need, coordinate and follow up on Sub Contracting samples going to third party lab. Admin tasks related to Sub Contracting results. Data entry, also as related to Sub Contracting results and samples.

 

 

You are the ideal Customer Service Representative, if you have: 

  • You possess a high school diploma and relevant food industry experience
  • You possess excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • You are an energetic individual that can work independently in a multi-tasking fast paced environment
  • You have the ability to work independently as well as engage others when required in escalation of concerns to meet the client needs or to best manage client disappointments
  • You have good knowledge of computers (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • You possess good time-management, communication, multi-tasking and priority setting skills
  • You have the ability to adapt to a changing environment
