Your main responsibilities are:


  • Provide direction and guidance for the HR team in Ontario, Quebec and Atlantic regions on a variety of matters, including recruitment, compensation, benefits, training, employee relations and administration.
  • Earn a "Business Partner" relationship with the Operations leaders, internal clients, helping them meet their business goals and achieve strategic objectives.
  • Facilitate programs that identify future leaders, set career paths, and implement competency based performance management tools.
  • Help reshape the traditional HR role - coach and train internal clients as you integrate good HR practices into corporate policies and programs.
  • Deliver a diverse and in-depth range of Human Resources services, including managerial coaching, employee relations, training and development, staffing, Employment Equity, organizational development and salary and benefit administration.
  • Participate in development and/or delivery of major HR projects i.e. Digitalization of HR Processes, Compensation and Benefits Design, Employee Communication and Incentive Programs, Training and Organization Development initiatives.


You are the ideal candidate if:


  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and French (both written and verbal).
  • CPHR designation achieved (CRHA).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in direct provision of Human Resources services at the management level.
  • Knowledge of provincial (Quebec, Ontario, Atlantic Canada) and federal legislation.
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook etc.)
  • Strong organizational, analytical, research and mediation skills.
  • Good knowledge of HRIS systems, group insurance benefit programs, RSP plans, WCB and disability management programs.
  • Leadership skills at the advanced level: coaching, training, mentoring.
  • Change management skills.
  • Strong ability to prioritize and organize work, problem solve, and can work effectively as a team player in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
