Job Summary
The Director of Business Development will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and expansion of our organization. This position requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in sales and business development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new market opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and enhancing customer relationships to achieve business objectives.
Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to increase market share and drive revenue growth.
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, including potential partnerships, acquisitions, and market expansions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders through effective customer relationship management.
- Utilize Salesforce and other software tools to track sales activities, manage leads, and analyze market trends.
- Lead negotiations with prospective clients to secure contracts and agreements that align with company goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment in project management and execution of business initiatives.
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
- Prepare reports and presentations for senior management on business development activities, forecasts, and performance metrics.
Requirements
- Proven experience in sales or business development roles, with a track record of achieving targets.
- Strong knowledge of strategic planning processes and market analysis techniques.
- Proficiency in customer relationship management software, particularly Salesforce.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong project management skills, capable of managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred but not required.
